Stratigraphy
-

Saurichthys sp., jaw bone fragment, 50/LMK
—
A fragment of the jaw bone of a actinopterygian fish, most likely of the genus Saurichthys.
-

Reptilia indet., medial gastralium, 49/LMK
—
A partially preserved medial gastralium from an indeterminate Triassic reptile. It is a V-shaped dermal bone resembling a rib and forming part of the gastral basket—a cage or basket-like structure protecting the organs ventrally.
-

Acrodus cf. lateralis, tooth, 11/UMK
—
A specimen of a shark tooth from the genus Acrodus (Acrodus cf. lateralis). From the Upper Muschelkalk (Middle Triassic, Ladinian) deposits of Upper Silesia. Relatively unusually, the tooth has a preserved root.
-

Bobasatrania scutata, upper dental plate fragment assoc. coprolite, 47/LMK 48/LMK
—
A limestone slab containing two fossils: a fragment of a crushing dental plate from a Triassic fish, probably Bobasatrania scutata, and a small coprolite of a marine predator containing undigested fish fragments.
-

Actinopterygii indet. (cf. Saurichthys), partial cranium, 46/LMK
—
The specimen is a partially preserved skull roof of a Triassic bony actinopterygian fish (cf. Saurichthys).
-

Eosauropterygia indet., ilium, 45/LMK
—
A specimen of a well-preserved ilium (hip bone) from a Triassic marine reptile belonging most probably to the Eosauropterygia.
-

Marine carnivore coprolite, 44/LMK
—
A well-preserved coprolite (fossilized feces) of a marine predator. Inside the coprolite, undigested fish remains (primarily ganoin scales) were preserved, strongly suggesting a piscivorous diet.

Ichthyosauria indet. (cf. Mixosauridae), anterior caudal? vertebra centrum, 43/LMK
Ichthyosauria indet. (cf. Mixosauridae) Middle Triassic, Lower Gogolin Beds, Upper Silesia, Poland A vertebral centrum of a small marine reptile, likely a member of the Mixosauridae—early ichthyosaurs known from the Triassic. The centrum is short, disc-shaped, subhexagonal in outline, and tapering upward. The articular surfaces of the centrum are strongly amphicoelous. Dorsally, the floor of…
-

Ichthyosauria indet. (cf. Mixosauridae), distal caudal vertebra centrum, 42/LMK
A well-preserved specimen of the distal caudal vertebra centrum of a small ichthyosaur. In Middle Triassic sediments of Upper Silesia, finds associated with ichthyosaurs are significantly rarer than those of representatives of other groups of marine reptiles.
-

Saurosphargis sp., dorsal vertebra, 41/LMK
The specimen is a large, but unfortunately incomplete, vertebra of a Middle Triassic marine reptile. The morphology of the vertebra is consistent with dorsal vertebrae of Saurosphargis sp. reported in the literature
